You might remember just last week i mentioned the late, the great Casey Donovan about busking amongst the asians in a random Sydney markets recently. Well, she's in the headlines again, and once again, it's not because of her career.
The shock and the horror! Casey Donovan, the former Australian Idol winner (if you call it that), was yesterday in high spirits despite having spent the past week in quarantine after disembarking from the swine flu ship the Pacific Dawn with 2500 other passengers. The singer told Confidential she was elated to be finally out of her Bass Hill bedroom, out of her face mask and getting back to work.
Wait...work?
Donovan and three girlfriends booked their passage to Vanuatu as their autumn holiday and, judging from the photos posted on her Facebook page, were having a great time before returning home to Sydney last Monday and learning two passengers had tested positive for swine flu.
“I found out on the news when I got home and took myself straight off to Bankstown Hospital,” she said last night.
“They ordered me home and into quarantine for seven days. I’m out today. I was going schizo.”
Oh Dono, i would milk this for as long as i could if i was you. I would be sleeping with the pigs, with some headlines and some sad photographs of you in hospital could just revive your career.
But then again....
